Campus Race to Zero Waste (formerly, Recyclemania) is an 8-week national waste diversion and recycling competition against colleges and universities to promote waste reduction activities in campus communities. This year, the competition runs from February 2nd - March 29th.
Events & Campaigns
Throughout the competition the Office of Sustainability, in collaboration with other organizations and departments, will be holding interactive, virtual events and running various campaigns for all students, faculty, and staff to participate in. Additional info: Hosted by the Eco-Reps, students can bring in plastic bags or other small, recyclable plastic items and exchange them for fun Valentine-themed goodies like stickers or candy! Learn more here!

Additional info: Graduate Student Life (GLO) is hosting a Toy Drive to provide gently used toys, puzzles, and board games for the children of graduate student families aged 0-12.
After the collection period, GLO will organize the donations by age group and plan a date for all graduate student families to come to Saucon Village to select toys for their little ones.
We’re excited to offer fun, educational, and engaging toys for kids, all while creating a supportive and caring atmosphere that brings our graduate students and their families even closer to the Lehigh community! Learn more here!
