The Eco-Rep Leadership Program will be accepting applications from returning students and incoming first year students for the 2019-2020 academic year from June 17th - July 1st.  If you want to learn more about being an eco-rep, click here! Important Application Information

Each applicant must submit a completed online application by July 1st at 11:59 PM.  Partial applications will NOT be considered.  In addition, each applicant must also:

Position Descriptions

There are two different types of Eco-Reps, each with varying levels of time commitment and responsibility.  Please review the positions descriptions below to determine which position you would like to apply to.  On the Hall or Building Eco-Rep application, there is a question that asks you to select select your preferred position: Hall Eco-Rep, Building Eco-Rep, or no preference.

Qualifications
  • Strong record of academic achievement. 

  • Passionate about sustainability and desire to improve behaviors

  • Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication, leadership, and time management

  • Must be reliable and responsible

Selection Process

Promising candidates will be interviewed as a key component of the selection process.  Interviews will be conducted during the week of July 8th.  They will be via a video conference.  Candidates will receive more information about the interviews when they are contacted for scheduling.  Final decisions will be made the week of July 15th.

Program Objectives

Lehigh's Eco-Rep Leadership Program works with a select group of students each year to:

  • Build and share knowledge
  • Implement behavior change
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Measure impact
  • Be change agents
Learning Outcomes
  • Learn about sustainable living program topics and develop your skills as a peer educator

  • Be a change agent by fostering sustainable living among your peers and empowering them to take action

  • Develop your peer-to-peer leadership skills, communication skills, behavior change, and event planning skills

  • Measure impact of programs and events - identify areas of improvement and opportunities for innovation

  • Develop skills in collaboration, communication, behavior change, interpersonal relations, and leadership

Attend an Information Session

If you are interested in applying, but want to know more, attend a webinar.  At this session, you will learn more about the Eco-Rep Leadership Program, what being an Eco-Rep entails, what the rewards are, and you will hear from current Eco-Reps about their experiences in the program.  The webinar schedule is:
