Double Your Impact with the EcoCoin Program

The Lehigh Bookstore and Office of Sustainability have partnered to tackle single-use plastic bags on campus. The EcoCoin Program gives Lehigh Bookstore customers the ability to go bagless while philanthropically supporting student organizations on campus. Each time a customer says “no” to a single-use plastic bag, they receive an EcoCoin which they can use to support a student organization on campus. EcoCoins have monetary value and the funds raised will be donated to the selected student organization. Learn more about the EcoCoin Program.

Sustainability Culture Survey Results

In Fall 2021, a Sustainability Culture Survey was administered as an official Lehigh survey by the Office of Institutional Research and Strategic Analytics. All current Lehigh students, faculty, and staff were invited to participate.  Participants received a block of general sustainability culture questions followed by random assignment to either additional culture or commuter questions. The Sustainability Culture Survey provides key insights into views on sustainability issues, priorities, familiarity with Lehigh Sustainability initiatives, beliefs and behaviors, motivation, and more.
