Southside Cleanup

Last April 2016, over 100 volunteers undertook a cleanup of the Southside of Bethlehem, PA. Volunteers from the local community, Lehigh and Northampton college students led by the APO Service Fraternity, Sands Casino employees, students and parents from Donegan Elementary and Broughal Middle School, and Girl Scouts worked together to pick up litter and trash.  Hector from the Southside Ambassadors taught the students the safest way to pick up litter and trash. This event took place with support from the Mayor's Southside Taskforce. Join us again in 2017 and make this partnership and sustainability in the Southside a lasting tradition! Stay tuned for details.
