We’ll Be Back: Bethlehem Farmers' Market 2020 Season Cancelled

You are here

The Bethlehem Farmers’ Market is one of many beloved events here at Lehigh University. Many of us have been looking forward to our upcoming season, which was originally scheduled to open on Thursday, April 30. Due to the challenging circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, it is with an immensely heavy heart that the market has adjusted its plans and cancelled the 2020 Bethlehem Farmers’ Market season.

The Office of Sustainability recognizes that access to fresh food is essential during these uncertain times, especially given the Bethlehem Farmers’ Market serves not just the students, faculty, and staff of Lehigh, but also the greater Bethlehem community. Until the Market returns, please seek out local food growers, producers, and makers near you and support your neighbor farmers. They are working harder than ever to feed our community. If you are interested in supporting the vendors that would have joined us this season, please see our BFM Vendor Guide. For up-to-date information on local food outlets, please visit the Buy Fresh Buy Local website and check out their Local Food Guide.

Though the 2020 season is cancelled, the Bethlehem Farmers’ Market is just as strong as ever and we will return in 2021. We encourage you to follow the Bethlehem Farmers’ Market’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts for updates and lists of resources from around the Lehigh Valley.
